The power reversing tractor has abandoned the traditional dry main clutch and adopted a more complex multi-friction plate wet clutch. Before purchasing and using the power reversing tractor, the following matters need to be known and noted:
Wet clutches generate a large amount of heat during operation. If the heat dissipation is poor, it may lead to component damage and shorten the service life. Moreover, the stable operation of wet clutches relies on electronic components such as electronic control units and sensors, which increases the risk of mechanical failures and the difficulty of maintenance.
Meanwhile, wet clutches are more expensive and have higher maintenance and upkeep costs. A dry clutch can be repaired and replaced after disconnecting the engine from the chassis, while a wet clutch is located inside the transmission. It requires draining the chassis oil, disassembling all transmission parts, and even removing the cab to carry out maintenance and replacement. The cycle is longer and requires professionals with specialized skills and special equipment for maintenance and repair.
