First, formulate policies to standardize the rectification work of procrastination. In 2019, the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Provincial Department of Public Security, and the Provincial Department of Emergency Management jointly issued the "Notice on Continuously and Deeply Carrying Out Special Rectification Work on Modified Tractors" (Wan Nong Ji [2019] No. 59), standardizing the management process and scrapping time limit for modified tractors. In 2021, the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs forwarded the "Notice on Further Strengthening the Safety Management of Tractors" (Wan Nong Ji Han [2021] No. 206) issued by the General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the General Office of the Ministry of Public Security, setting the final deadline for the elimination and zeroing out of tractors throughout the province as the end of December 2024. In 2024, the "Three-Year Action Plan for Addressing the Root Causes of Work Safety in the Agricultural and Rural System of the Province (2024-2026)" was issued, with the special rectification of work safety being one of the main actions. All regions across the province strictly follow the relevant requirements, insisting on integrating the special rectification of variable tractors into every aspect of agricultural machinery safety publicity and the rectification of agricultural machinery safety hazards, and never let up at any time.
Second, strengthen coordination and always remain vigilant about the special rectification. The Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issues a notice on the rectification of tractor haulage every six months. The Provincial Agricultural Machinery Supervision Station compiles a "Brief on Agricultural Machinery Safety Supervision" every month to report on the progress of the rectification of tractor haulage throughout the province and enhance the sense of crisis in all regions. Since the beginning of this year, the Provincial Agricultural Machinery Supervision and Administration Station has sent personnel to Lu 'an, Anqing, Huangshan, Chizhou and other places six times to conduct open and covert inspections on the special rectification work of variable tractors, strongly tightening the chain of the special rectification work of variable tractors and promoting the investigation and rectification of potential safety hazards of variable tractors.
