1. Low grounding ratio, protecting the soil

Using shoes to drag operations in dry land can prevent the formation of a plough layer, retain moisture and prevent drought. Prevent the hard bottom layer of paddy fields from being damaged to ensure normal cultivation of paddy fields. The grounding specific pressure of wheeled tractors is three times that of track tractors. Experiments show that the germination rate of farmland after being compacted by wheeled tractors is only 30%-40%, while the germination rate of track tractors can still reach 80%-90%. The wheel tracks of the paddy fields are even more detrimental to transplanting rice seedlings and harvesting, and may even cause the mud feet to deepen continuously, making it impossible to cultivate.
2. It has a large traction force and obvious advantages in deep ploughing and heavy-load operations

The traction force of a tracked tractor of the same weight is 1.4 to 1.8 times that of a wheeled tractor. In terms of traction efficiency, the maximum traction efficiency of a wheeled tractor is 55 to 65%, while that of a tracked tractor can reach 70 to 80%. That is to say, for tractors with the same horsepower, the effective power of a wheeled tractor's engine is lost 15% more than that of a tracked tractor.

3. The working efficiency is comparable to that of a half-jin wheeled tractor

When tractors are used for farmland operations, the speed of rotary tillage is generally 5 to 6 kilometers per hour, that of plowing is generally 7 to 9 kilometers per hour, and that of harrowing is generally 10 to 12 kilometers per hour. The tillage speed of the track tractor is comparable to that of the wheeled tractor. Whether it is ploughing, harrowing, sowing or other farm operations, the track tractor is no slower than the wheeled tractor, and its advantage in traction is obvious.

4. It has extremely strong passability and climbing ability

Due to its low center of gravity and high adhesion coefficient, crawler tractors have excellent stability on slopes against overturning and sliding. They also feature small turning radius maneuverability and strong climbing ability, making them more adaptable to farmland and terraced field operations in mountainous and hilly areas than wheeled tractors. Especially when equipped with rubber tracks, they are all-terrain operation machinery.
