The first tractor: Ulsus

When it comes to Ulsus, I believe many tractor drivers have heard of it, seen it or driven it.

Introduced from Romania in the 1950s and still in use in the 1970s, it was later replaced by the Dongfanghong 54 and 75 models. It is started by burning sulfur rods. It is very difficult for people without strength to start it. Secondly, it is noisy, has poor driving performance and is slow. This vehicle is powerful and can pull more than the "Dongfanghong 28", so it is generally used for transportation.

The second tractor: Qianlima 28

The Qianlima 28 tractor was produced in North Korea in the 1970s and appeared in the North Korean film "Flowers Bloom in the Rich Village". At that time, North Korea's technology was also quite advanced.

The third tractor: Utez-45

The Utez-45 tractor, a medium-sized wheeled tractor imported from Romania, is equipped with a 45-horsepower 4-cylinder diesel engine and is mainly used on farms in the Great Northern Wilderness.

The fourth tractor: Dongfang Hong-54 crawler tractor

The Dongfanghong-54 crawler tractor was developed and produced in 1954. It was China's first crawler tractor, marking the official entry of China's agricultural mechanization into a new stage. Dongfanghong 54 carries the memories of too many people and can be regarded as a classic of its generation.

It first starts the gasoline engine with a rope (pull), then the gasoline engine drives the diesel engine. By increasing the speed and engaging the clutch, the diesel engine is started after the pressure is reduced.

The fifth tractor: Dongfanghong-75 crawler tractor

The Dongfanghong-75 crawler tractor is an upgraded and improved version based on the Dongfanghong-45 model. According to the records, the production volume of Dongfanghong-75 crawler tractors is close to one million units. This model is regarded as a classic of our country. The Dongfanghong 75 model has played a crucial role in agricultural production, greatly promoting the output and income of agriculture and rural areas.

The sixth tractor: Yalu River No. 1 Tractor

The "Yalu River No.1" was born on February 16, 1957, at the Andong Machinery Factory in Liaoning Province. It was the first 30-horsepower single-cylinder wheeled tractor independently produced in China. I wonder how many people still remember this tractor. Has any experienced driver ever driven it?

The seventh tractor: Xingtai vertical 120 tractor

The Xingtai vertical 120 tractor is a small but powerful tractor, featuring a 12-horsepower gear drive (not belt drive), with strong performance and durability. The appearance of this single-cylinder tractor is also very outstanding. It mainly uses a vertical diesel engine and a drive shaft, which is different from other designs that adopt horizontal diesel engines and belt drives.

The eighth tractor: Dongfanghong-28 tractor

The Dongfanghong-28 tractor is produced by Changchun Tractor Manufacturing Factory. This two-cylinder tractor represents the memory of a generation. When starting, the decompression lever needs to be opened. Start by changing the fuel type and using the crank. After reaching a high speed, turn off the decompression and drive by the compressive force of diesel. The driving experience of the Dongfanghong-28 is rather bumpy and its body is relatively short. Haiyan's father was once a tractor driver in our village. He also drove this tractor and left a deep impression on him.

The ninth tractor: Tiantuo Iron Bull -55

The Tiantuo Tienuo-55 is produced by Tianjin Tractor Manufacturing Factory, which mainly manufactures tractors under the "Tienu" brand. The starting method of this tractor is to use a rope to start the gasoline engine, and then use the gasoline engine to start the main engine.

The tenth tractor: Dongfeng 12 type walk-behind tractor

The Dongfeng 12 type walk-behind tractor, equipped with a single-cylinder diesel engine, accompanied hundreds of millions of Chinese farmers in the 1970s and 1980s. This walk-behind tractor has undergone almost no technological improvements in half a century.
